EN19 Steel
EN19 material properties are high hardness and high tensile strength. EN19 comes under Alloy steel under the grades of steel. EN19 alloy steel is used to make machine parts like gears, nuts, bolts, structural materials, angles, channels, round bars, hex bars, etc. EN19 has an extreme tensile strength in EN19T condition.
Ready stock material of EN19 in sizes 20mm to 190mm dia. Over two decades of experience supplying EN19 round bars. We are one of the most trusted manufacturers and exporters of EN19 grade Alloy Steel Bars. The heat treatment methods such as normalizing, tempering, and quenching can be applied to EN19. The EN19 material is tested for a variety of parameters such as impact testing, mechanical testing, chemical analysis testing, bent testing, etc. Heat Treated EN19 sheets and plates are of very tensile strength and are used to make steel products. We Supply EN19 sheets and plates, round bars , forged bars, hot rolled bars, cold forged bars, bright bars, flat bars, square bars, hex bars, and forged blocks.

Heat treatment:
Steel is heated at 845°C followed by quenching in oil. Before hardening, it can be normalized by heating at 913°C for a long period of time followed by air cooling.
Hardening:
Oil quench from a temperature of 85°C/88°C Celsius.
Tempering:
En19 alloy steel can be tempered at 205 to 649°C depending upon the desired hardness level. The hardness of the steel can be increased if it has lower tempering temperature. For example, tensile strength of 225 ksi can be achieved by tempering at 316°C (600°F), and a tensile strength of 130 ksi can be achieved by tempering at 538°C(1000°F).
